Critical Mass

If you like cycling, you like the envirionment, you like your city or just like to meet interesting people, you should really check out if there's a Critical Mass in your town. Since I'm no good in sumeraizing and there is a realy good article on the Wikipedia, just read that to get an idea what a Critical Mass is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_Mass

Here in Brussels we're celebrating the eleventh aniversary of the Critical Mass (Mass Critique in French, Kritische Massa in Dutch) this evening:.
I've only been part of it since a year or two and mainly as a result of my involvement with the World Naked Bike Ride or Cyclonudista as we call it here. I had heard about Critical Mass before and it sounded really cool, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to getting at the rendez-vous point on time every last Friday of the month. A shame really because from participating I've got to know a lot of really intersting people I would not have known otherwise, even though I've been living in Brussels for more then ten years now.

So if you live in Brussels, be sure to check out the Critical Mass: http://placeovelo.collectifs.net/ or if Facebook is all you know: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=21452942060
And otherwise there might be a Critical Mass in your town: http://criticalmass.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_rides
